Responsive Speaking aims to
develop the students' ability to speak English at pre-intermediate level which covers
asking and giving apology,
expressing happiness, sadness, symphaty/condolence, giving and asking opinion, advice
and Suggestion,
encouragement,
warning, complaint, request and
persuasion, giving information
from media (internet,
tv,
magazine,
etc)
and group discussion. Students will be reviewed
orally on their
vocabulary,
fluency,
content, and
detail.
In the end
of the semester, students are expected to have ability to respond to
what other people say and
express their argument in speaking for general English and
specific purposes.
