The Argumentative Speaking course is designed to develop students' abilities to communicate effectively, critically and persuasively through oral arguments. This course teaches students techniques for compiling and presenting logical and evidence-based arguments, as well as how to respond constructively to opposing arguments. Students will learn the basic principles of rhetoric, debate, and convincing communication strategies, with the aim of improving their public speaking skills. Apart from that, this course also teaches ethics in arguing, including how to convey different views while still respecting other people.
